The Millionaire Code

Study Your Craft

After I heard Jim Rohn quote his mentor Earl Shoaff, “if you want to be wealthy, study wealth” that’s exactly what I did.

The self-help book The Millionaire Code: 16 Paths To Wealth Building by Paul B. Farrell goes over 16 millionaire personality codes to help people understand why they are the way they are, and to find their purpose.

It helped me to realize why I’m unique – as are you. More importantly it helped me to begin to discover my life’s purpose.

Work Smart

Most millionaires find their purpose, then they find a way to make money doing it. It’s not really hard work when you do what you love, but at some point all self-made millionaires paid their dues by not only working hard, but also by working smart.

Napoleon Hill  referred to it in Think And Grow Rich, {<free copy} as going the extra mile.

Brian Tracy in 21 Success Secrets Of self-made Millionaires {<Free copy} lists doing what you love to as number 4, and working harder and longer as number 6.

Understand that hard work pays off long term because there will come a time when lots of money will buy you the freedom to enjoy life, give generously to others, and to pursue and develop your talents.

For myself my most monumental achievements came when I got focused on what I wanted, then locked in and worked really hard. Then after a while I was able to relax and taste deeply from the fruits of my labors.

If financial riches came easy then everyone would be rich

Fortunately, people like Wallace D. Wattles studied wealth and wrote The Science Of Getting Rich {<Free copy} which is full of powerful insights that inspired Rhonda Byrne to create the movie and the book The Secret.

It also takes vision. You need to be specific about what you want – see it vividly in your mind’s eye. Meditate upon it frequently with feeling. Learn how to use the law of visualization. Then welcome the disciplines and take consistent action.

To take massive action you must believe in yourself. In The Magic Of Believing  {<Free audio/video} Claude Bristol goes into how to harness the power of belief.

Everything that I’ve learned forms a whole, but the ultimate weapon in my arsenal to success is to feel as though I am already the type of person that I want to be. So I use the law of assumption because thinking from the end is the beginning  of your new life.

Open Your Mind To Abundance

In Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind {<Free copy} T. Harv Eker talks about developing a money consciousness. Let abundance flow to you by opening your mind to it in a positive way which ignites the forces of the law of attraction.

The secret to attracting wealth is to study wealth because like Claude Bristol said,”thought attracts that upon which it is directed”. By studying wealth you focus on it, and you always get more of what you focus on.

“The First Wealth Is Health”*

Take a dose of your mental & emotional vitamins & minerals every day. Learn to control your thoughts and emotions in order to dial in positive vibrations.

I destroy the mental habits of old and welcome in positive new ones by getting over the past as best I can. This is why I studied long and hard – because of my burning desire to change and improve because after all the true meaning of quality is consistent and never ending improvement.

All the best, – Herb.
