In Everything Give Thanks

“Gratitude Is The Fairest Blossom That Springs From The Soul”*

When you’re content with what you have, you usher in a deep state of mind that is spiritual in nature – gratitude. And gratitude is bliss.

By consciously developing a sense of gratitude in all things, you exalt the Divine Mind. This is the master key that unlocks the treasure chest and beauty of God.

Like all other states of mind, gratitude can ripen into habit. By giving thanks every day, you taste deeply from the fruits of gratitude. Then those fruits send forth a bountiful harvest.

“The Mighty Oak Sleeps In the Acorn”*

The term self-made might lead you to believe that it is a truism, yet nobody reaches the top of success mountain without many helping hands up along the way.

In  21 Success Secrets Of Self-Made Millionaires {<Free Copy} by Brian Tracy, number 17 is “Get Around The Right People” for a reason.

When you set a goal, and take the initial steps, you’ll soon be getting help along the way from unexpected people.

You also get lots of help from your own subconscious mind, and the quantum field of energy that I call God.

So, don’t just give thanks for the human help, but also for the Divine help that you receive.

“‘Thank You’ Is The Best Prayer That Anyone Could Say”*

The key to getting what you pray for is to be grateful for it as though you’ve already received it. Because the emotion of gratitude emits magnetic vibrations into the universe that attract even more to be grateful for.

By focusing your mind on something specific through the fine art of prayer, you usually get what you ask for, or something even better.

“Gratitude Is The Sign Of Noble Souls”*

Gratitude is also a matter of perspective. By comparing disagreeable circumstances or events to what they might have been, you’ll often find that things could have been worse.

Look around the world, and you’ll find much to be grateful for. Do you have good food and potable water to drink? Can you walk, talk, see, and hear? Are you free to pursue your dreams? Most of all, if you’re alive and in reasonable health, then you’ve got it made.

A close friend of mine was afflicted with a health concern since birth, but it only strengthened this powerhouse of a lady to develop her natural gifts. Gifts that might have otherwise laid dormant.

An insightful poet and talented writer, she also became a superstar mother. Then her daughter in turn became one of the most talented artists around.

The lesson is, no matter how bad you think you have it, there’s always somebody else who has it worse. And winner’s like my friend always find a way to turn it around and give it positive meaning.

“The Essence Of All Beautiful Art, All Great Art, Is Gratitude”*

Find new creative ways to express your gratitude. Not only for material gifts, but for those who give to you of their time and effort – which is far more valuable.

Find unique ways of expressing your gratitude like mailing a handwritten letter. Then your gift of thanks will be infectious – it will effect that persons mood, which in turn will effect others.

Don’t forget to express your appreciation to those who are closest to you. It’s one of the strangest quirks about humans, but we all tend to take family and people that we see regularly for granted.

But, the truth is that one day they’ll be gone. Don’t let the regret live on after they’re gone in the form of – I wish I had told them how I felt, and how grateful I was…

“When The Night Is Darkest, The Stars Come Out”*

Gratitude comes to life when it is spoken aloud. Has a parent, friend, or spouse ever supported you by believing in you?

For myself, that special lady that I mentioned, was always there for me when I went through a living nightmare. Her faith in me, forever changed me, and I’ll always be extremely grateful and love her for it.

Remember, focus your mind on what you don’t have, and you get more of it. Focus on what you do have, and be grateful for it, and you’ll get more of that too.

The choice is obvious. Since the power of our thoughts affect our destiny, doing our best to choose positive thoughts instead of negative ones – is the wisest choice.

And since the best things in life are free, be grateful for them. Then you’ll soon discover that although gratitude costs nothing, it’s a huge investment in the future that will pay off many fold.

Thanks for your time and consideration, – Herb.
